- Saudi Arabia has four international airports, located in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Medina. Travellers will be met as soon as they disembark from their flight, and be escorted until they exit customs, at which point they will be handed over to their waiting chauffeur.- Saudi Arabia is well known for being one of the strictest Islamic nations in the world. All visitors must abide by local laws and customs.- Female travellers to Saudi Arabia must be especially vigilant about the national laws and customs. Solitary women cannot enter Saudi Arabia, unless met by a male sponsor. All women, including foreign nationals, must dress conservatively, which usually means wearing an abaya. There are a number of regulations governing the conduct of women, and it is important to be aware of these and abide by them. Remember, foreign women are not exempt from Saudi law whilst in the country.
